Dear Parents,
Welcome to Queen Elizabeth School!!
This past school year has been unique. We definitely made History! We are hoping next year will be more settled. There is one thing we know for certain; the staff at Queen Elizabeth have worked through all of the ups and downs with professionalism and always keeping our students in mind. Your child’s health and well being are our top priority. We are very proud of our school community as a whole. We do not have all the plans made yet for the Fall, when we do, we will communicate them to you. Please watch for updates on the Queen E Kaz Facebook page throughout the summer.
Daycare at Queen E will stay open for the 2020-2021 school year. As long as the program can maintain 6 regular students committed to attending 3 days per week or more, the program will remain open. First day for daycare is August 28th. If you are interested in daycare, please call or email Lisa Savard at the school.
Enclosed you will find, the 2020-2021 school calendar, as well as the list of supplies your child will need to start the new year. Please take note that the first day of classes for students will be Friday, August 28th. Please note; there will be a staggered entry for students in the next school year.
School fees help with the cost of essential services and materials for the school, such as lunch hour supervision, workbooks, and agendas. The Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport has directed schools to charge parents for certain services such as consumable items and supervision. Parents will be asked to pay for supervision, agendas and math workbooks/photocopies. We will determine the cost of school fees in September.
From the Q.E. staff,
Have a great summer and we look forward to working with you and your child in the upcoming school year.
